A perfect tropical and sunfilled child-friendly stay in the sun!

Amazing facilities & beautiful location right at the beach. Beautiful gardens surrounding the pools and social areas. But more than the property or facilities, it is the wonderful and friendly staff that makes this resort fantastic! The reception always helpful and Angela with guest services always available, the restaurant staff just lovely (special thanks to the head chef & manager, and also Mussa, Gishenka, Emmanuel, Arnold… I know I am forgetting many) and the spa highly recommended (Anette with a great massaage!). Many thanks to all of the staff for making our stay wonderful!

The experience was fabulous and we'll most certainly return.

A variety of eats & drinks to select from during breakfast, dinner and lunch times. Situated right on the beach for early morning and evening strolls. Loads of activities to participate in IF one chooses. Alternately, simply relax by the pools, on the beach or in your well-equipped bungalow.

Enjoyed EVERYTHING this resort had to offer. An element completely out of their control is the Maasai sales people "pestering" the guests as soon as they set foot off the resorts perimeter.

Amazing, great honeymoon destination

We loved all the staff, everyone was extremely helpful and kind. Whenever we needed something (such as laundry, excursions or any question) everyone was exceptional. The manager Victor was very kind, helpful and friendly. Sulimaan was also great at organising the excursions.

The best thing about this hotel is that they have an amazing FO manager Victor who does a phenomenal job in communicating with guests and making sure they are happy. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with the service and really made a huge difference in terms of our satisfaction with the service received . His attentiveness to details and willingness to get feedback about how our experience was and what can be improved shows how much he genuinely cares about all the different aspects of this hotel that he is involved in. He is a rockstar

The staff, the location, the room, the romantic package and the layout of the property.

The food wasn’t very good most days. The flavors could have been better. More local dishes would have been nice too.

The facility, the staff members ( Victor, Fabian and Muda) were very friendly and very helpful. The place is very nice and will not mind booking here again. Entertainment everyday was nice. The facility has exceeded my expectation. 3 big poolsand obviously the beach was nice. I do recommend the place. .

They can improve on the breakfast. We really didn't enjoy their breakfast.

Clean and tidy. Set up well if your stay was all inclusive. Nice resort and friendly staff.

It was difficult to get a sun lounge and one of the days they ran out of towels. And tricky to navigate if you hadn’t paid all inclusive.

We were lucky to book the accommodation in a very last moment (half board), but this was a very lucky option. Great place, fabulous beach, very kind personnel, and a good food. And not too many people, thus it was really relaxing period for the vacation. Nice clean rooms, many possibilities for cooling if necessary. Lot of things to do at the afternoon, thus the animation team did the best to entertain people. Even in the low tide period in the morning the pool was a good options to replace ocean. Great place, and if you are lucky, the cost/quality relation is very attractive.

We booked a night at the Kiwengwa Beach Resort for NYE. We had been traveling around Zanzibar and wanted a lovely place to stay for a special occasion. As soon as we arrived we were met by friendly, accommodating staff. We were unable to check into the room we had booked as there was a problem in all hotels we stayed in with overbooking. However, George the new manager went above and beyond for us to make sure our night there was still perfect! Every time he saw us he went out of his way to say hello and to make sure we were ok. Staying at this hotel was the best part of our trip to Zanzibar. I would recommend everyone to stay here! It’s a beautiful hotel with absolutely amazing staff!! Staying in the Kiwengwa Beach Resort is a must! You will love it!
